While Keystone isn’t renowned as a luxurious ski destination, like Deer Valley or Aspen, it offers several top-notch options for vacationers in pursuit of high end lodging and fine dining.
Keystone isn’t renowned as a jet set destination, but there are a couple choice options for those seeking high-end experiences.
While affordable and family restaurants are the dominant sort of dining options, the Keystone fine dining scene will catch you by surprise, with the highest Four-Diamond AAA restaurant in North America: Alpenglow Stube. Guests take two gondolas to the top of North Peak−11,444 feet−where they’ll enjoy contemporary Bavarian atmosphere and cuisine. For more top-of-the-world experiences be sure to dine at Der Fondue Chessel, a popular fondue restaurant also located atop North Peak.
For more award-winning fare, and wine, make a reservation at Keystone Ranch Restaurant. This AAA Four Diamond establishment is located about five miles West from the resort and main base area. It well worth the trip though, Keystone Ranch boasts not only an incredible “frontier fine dining” menu, but a Wine Spectator-endorsed wine list, and offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere in the 1930s homestead ranch house.
